Thursdays are "Kids Day"

In the Pottery Studio

July 8 to August 26

 

"Kids Day" (Thursdays) are project-oriented classes for the kids to create with clay and/or paint ceramics.  They will meet from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Cost per child is $8 each week they participate, for art materials.  Permission slip 'sign in' and payment is at the door.  Parents are not required to stay.  Adult supervision is provided.  Students can bring their own drink or snack.

To be safe, temperatures will be taken at the door.  Per CDC guidelines, if the student has NOT been vaccinated, they will be required to wear a mask.

"Learn How to Sculpt With Clay Coils"


Kathleen Birkholz will be leading a two-day pottery workshop on September 6 & 7, from 2 pm to 5 pm in the Pottery Studio.  Please note the date change from August 2 & 3..

Attendees will learn the basics of pottery sculpture using clay coils.

Please bring moist clay, tools, wire or cutter tools and a hardboard surface to build on.  A handout of Elephant pictures will be provided, or bring your own.  This is a beginner sculpture class.

Hand-building - Beginner Level
