Mesquite’s treasures are many, and one was added to the list when the Women’s History and Culture Center opened in September 2018.
The Center, located at 225 N. Willow #23 (the old elementary school), is in a square block complex that is home to many non-profit organizations. Our parking lot boasts a beautiful, colorful mural on the building wall. As of 2021, we have a new mural honoring the Women’s Suffrage Centennial, directly across from our entrance doors. We’ve also added beautiful pavers in the “Plaza” area, making room for outdoor events, celebrations, meetings, whatever you can imagine!
