About the Gallery...
The Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery & Center provides a venue for artistic culture and education in the Virgin Valley. The Virgin Valley Artists Association (VVAA),
a non-profit volunteer organization
, are administrators of the Gallery & Center and support the venue through Our Mission:
* To advance and promote the arts for all age groups and cultures in the community and surrounding area.
* To provide a place for all local artists, crafters and everyone with interests in the arts to learn, develop, share and display their talents.
* To help with funding, planning and operating a state-of-the-art fine arts facility in Mesquite.
The VVAA theme, "Promoting The Power Of The Arts", implies that artists have an ability to make things happen.
Who are the artists?
The truth is we are all artists. We all can pick up a pencil, pen, brush, camera, chisel or lump of clay and make our world a little prettier, colorful or simply better in some way.
Members of the VVAA partner with other organizations to help enrich the lives of our citizens in the areas of the arts and cultural education by providing interesting exhibits and shows, providing diverse classes in the arts, and creating opportunities for our children. We support artist members by showing their work in the galleries and other venues.
