Dedicated to bringing the fine arts to Mesquite, our Members and volunteers strive to provide quality fine art experiences to both community members and visitors to the Virgin Valley.

The Virgin Valley Artists Association invites you to participate in our Mesquite Fine Arts Center and Gallery fundraising campaign.

As the days become longer our thoughts turn to our Young Artist Summer Activities (YASA) academic program we offer to area youth.  The curriculum presented builds on the basic art skills offered by the schools, and provides opportunities the schools cannot.

Classes are held twice weekly during the months of July and August.  Our able and talented member-artists teach these students.  Parents are often astounded by the skills their children have mastered.  One such parent wrote “I can’t thank you enough for believing in (our son).  . . You have made a big difference in his life.” “We are grateful for what you have done for him, and what you continue to do for others.” 

The summer sessions conclude with a Gallery Exhibition of the young artists’ works as well as a formal reception.  The excitement and pride in the Gallery is palpable!

The instruction, the materials, the exhibition, the reception – all this is free to the children and their parents. 

We need your help.  Currently, we provide the YASA program to 40 children each summer. We would like to expand our activities and offer them to more young artists, as well as increase the materials provided and improve the exhibition layout and design.
