Artist of the Month: Carolyn Chuatiuco
Aug 2: Young Artist Summer Activity Session One: Reception. Don't miss this one-day event! Young
artists' works created during Session One of the YASA series will be on display in the North Gallery
for one day only, from noon through four pm.. Be prepared to view color and creativity and mingle
with the young artists themselves. Be sure to bring along a friend.
Aug 4: Our Young Artist Summer Activity (YASA) session two begins. The YASA classes teach youth
between the ages of 8 and 14 about the elements of art in an exciting, hands on approach. Area
artists demonstrate different disciplines while engaging students as they create their own artworks.
Students may register for one of the two summer sessions held during July and August on
Thursdays and Fridays from 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm.These young artists will create several projects that
not only produce works of art, but also give each student a great feeling of satisfaction and
accomplishment.

.Aug 5: Summer Series Continues : Visit the Gallery between August 5 and August 30 to view our
artists' interpretations of the theme: "What's in Your Pocket? " in Sculpture and in Dry Media.
