On Exhibit: South Gallery: 2010 Spring Salon: With Art by Poetry (through April 30th)
Poetry inspired Art - area poets submit poems of 25 lines or less and inspire our artists.
This is a juried exhibition. Art may be submitted without a poem.
North Gallery: Members' Art
Mar 1: Join in the fun at the Cowboy Poetry Workshop at 6:30 p.m. If you're interested in the Cowboy
way of life and the writing form known as Cowboy Poetry you'll want to attend these workshops held
the first and third Monday of each Month.
Mar 2 : Brown Bag Lunch Series Noon

Mar 12: 2010 Spring Art Salon Awards Night Reception in the Gallery from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Light
refreshments will be served.
Mar 15: Cowboy Poetry Workshop in the Gallery at 6:30 p.m.
Mar 19: Something Special! Come and listen to the music of VVAA member Colin Warren at the "Flute
for all Occasions" concert in the Gallery from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
Mar 24: Our Photoshoot begins at 2:30 p.m. when we meet at the Art Center to travel into the Gold Butte
area to Whitney Hartman.
We will car pool. If you have a four wheel drive vehicle, please bring it
While a higher clearance vehicle would probably be okay, this trip does involve a rocky desert road
We will photograph rock formations and petroglyphs and might get lucky and find an early spring
wild flower or two.
Mar 27: Join the festivities at the Ms. Senior Mesquite Reception in the Gallery from 6:00 p.m. to
8:0 0 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
