Open to Artists 18yrs or older and residing in NV, AZ, and UT
Date: June 1– June 26, 2010
Entry Deadline: May 29, 2010 before 4 p.m.
Awards: $100 prize for the Best of Show selected by People’s Choice Ballot.
The VVAA will provide a voting ballot to patrons visiting the Gallery.
Votes will be tallied on the 26th of June. Ribbons awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place.
Entry Procedure & Fee: Artists are encouraged to interpret the Theme. Artwork must be original,
have not won a previous award and be for sale. All photos must be framed. Artwork must have wire
for hanging and have an entry tag securely attached to the backside.
Entry fee is $15 for each piece and limited to four per artist. Fees are payable at time of delivery,
and non-refundable.
Sales: The Gallery will retain 25% commission on all sales. The price on the entry tag will be
considered the retail price. All art must remain in the Gallery until June 26th. Winning entries will
be displayed in the gift shop area during July, 2010. The VVAA and the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery
will not be liable for any damage or loss during the exhibition. Every effort to care for your artwork
will be taken. Artists are responsible for their own insurance.
Pick Up: All art must be picked up on June 27th or June 28 between 1 and 4 p.m. In the event the
art is not picked up by July 15 it will be considered abandoned. (See Policies and Procedures
addition dated March 31, 2010)
